I LOVE Red Wings. I’m 44, and I’ve been wearing them since high school. They’re tough and look good. But they are NOT comfortable. I wish this wasn’t the case.

    • http://www.primermagazine.com/ Andrew

In one of my pairs I put a $2 insole from RiteAid and they became one of my most comfortable pairs instantly. Give it a try! Another route is if you have old sneakers, take the inside out and put it in you boots, they’ll already be molded to your foot.

      • Nat

I currently have the moc-toe wedge sole boot (I forgot the model number), the pull-on Pecos, and the Harvester (a taller Iron Ranger style minus the cap-toe). Sadly, adding any insole makes them a tad too-tight. I suppose I should have sized up.

But thanks for the response; I love the site (long-time reader but first-time poster).
