First Dibs: Suitsupply Outlet Sale Now Live for a Limited Time – Suits, Outerwear, Sweaters, Shoes
The rare sale from the internet's favorite suit brand is live, get the access code here.

Update: The outlet is now offline. Suitsupply is one of our top picks in our best men's clothing brands guide for a reason: They have a great attention to detail and offer quality at a price that usually costs a lot more. Unfortunately, it is still a lot of money and it's a bummer the outlet isn't available more frequently.

For a good budget alternative that still offers design and quality, check out the Canadian brand Spier & Mackay. You can get the look of a Suitsupply suit for about half the price depending on model and if there is a sale going on. They are a smaller company which means stock availability in all sizes can be an issue.

Bonobos also makes a good Suitsupply alternative. Unlike Spier & Mackay, they are a larger brand like Suitsupply and also have brick and mortar stores in some locations. I actually got this Bonobos jacket from Amazon for a last-minute wedding suit look, and it has a very similar appearance to my 3 piece Suitsupply suit. Don’t call Suitsupply affordable bespoke, but that’s exactly what it is. The level of fit and quality at unheard of price points is unparalleled, but that doesn’t mean any of it is cheap. Founded in 2000 in Amsterdam, the brand has come a long way with both online and retail sales that provide some of the best in men’s apparel. Each piece looks as if it’s been tailored for you, and the result is an impeccable fit with fabrics previously only found in bespoke menswear. Now, the time is upon the privileged (i.e., you) to capitalize on their rare outlet sale where you usually need a code to access and the sizes run out quickly.

You can access the outlet by using the code 2020 via this link: Suitsupply Outlet – Some of our picks below.

Here are some important pointers to keep in mind before you shop.

  • It’s best to filter by your size so you only see the selections that fit you.
  • Suitsupply offers suits in a range of fits to accommodate all body shapes and preferences. They are named, and appear in the product title.
  • They're a great place to get a wear-it-for-twenty-years suit, OR something with a little more edge, like Andrew's 3 piece plaid Havana suit
  • Beyond suits, they also  make high-quality outerwear, knits, and footwear which are included in Outlet, so don't overlook these gems.
  • All sales are final, so shop smart.

2020 might seem like one big nightmare, but it might just work out for you since this year’s Suitsupply inventory didn’t get the traffic it deserved due to the rather rare circumstances. But this is, consequently, a rare sale, and Suitsupply has added pieces from their most recent collection to the Suitsupply Outlet Sale, an unprecedented opportunity.

Here are some of our favorites:

Image of man wearing a dark grey 3 piece suit

Dark Grey Washington Suit  ($180 $449) Every man needs a dark grey wool suit, but this one puts a twist on tradition with peaked lapels on a single-breasted jacket. We love the unique stacked flap and ticket pockets, as well as the Italian woven fabric.

A man wearing a long navy trench coat

Navy Trench Coat ($200 $499) A big standing collar imbues you with presence and confidence, and this spring/summer weight trench coat fits that bill. Cotton and nylon water-resistant fabric in rich navy, faux double-breasted buttons, and a slim silhouette will make everyone wonder what Hollywood movie set you just walked off of.

A man wearing a blue suit

Mid Blue Check Sienna Suit ($210 $699) Another take on the classic navy suit, the checkered pattern and slightly lighter hue add texture and character. The 100% Italian wool suit is more generously cut but still pulls off a tailored look.

A man wearing a blue suit jacket

Blue Havana Jacket ($150 $499) This is one of the boldest blue blazers we’ve seen without a pattern. Peaked lapels, double-breasted, rich Delfino wool, and a slim cut make it perfect for meetings or a drink with that special person.

A man wearing a brown suit jacket

Mid Brown Houndstooth Havana Jacket ($250 $499) In this cooler weather jacket, with red highlights and that classic Houndstooth pattern, you are your own holiday party. Slim cut and single-breasted, it goes well with a turtleneck or an oxford. The wool cashmere softness means you have to keep everyone’s hands off you. Social distancing helps.

A man wearing a navy and white striped turtleneck top

Navy Breton Turtleneck ($71 $119) Inspired by vintage French Breton striped sweaters, this merino wool turtleneck has slim fit, straight hem, ribbed collar and cuffs, and enough class to make it look like you just disembarked from your own classic wooden speedboat.

A man wearing a green field jacket

Green Field Jacket ($180 $399) This slim cut but unconstructed field jacket provides a remarkably tailored look for something so simple. Four button-flap patch pockets punctuate a cotton and polyacryl fabric that keeps wind and rain at bay. The intentional lack of epaulets softens your edge.

A product image of a dark brown shoe with straps

Dark Brown Double Monk Strap ($125 $249) These are the kind of shoes that set you apart. The double buckle monk straps provide boldness but exude tradition. Italian calfskin is soft and holds its shape well, and the leather sole means these are meant for dress.
