Gift Ideas for Guys: Over 150 Gift Ideas You Can Actually Ask For

Gift Ideas for Guys

The older we get the harder it is to create a gift wish list. It’s not because we stop yearning for toys, it’s that anything we want in the normal gift-giving price range, we’ve probably already bought for ourselves. So Primer is tasked with one simple goal: What are some cool things we’d like to have, but don’t want to pay for? What follows are gadgets, essentials, and upgrades that’ll still give you that Red Ryder BB Gun smile come gift opening time.

Our biggest and most interactive gift guide ever.

What is Primer Approved?
On some of the gift ideas there’s a small “Primer Approved” badge. This is a classification for some of the products we’ve tested hands-on and feel they’re worth the money. Companies can’t pay for this distinction: The product we used must have met both the advertised promises and our expectations.

    Honestly, great curation!
I’ve bought a few of these items in the past after you posted about them (multitool keychain, Swiss blanket, canvas weekender bag). All great purchases, no regrets.
My family has been harassing me about creating an Amazon Wish List and you just made my life easier. Adding a good chunk of these items now….

This is a great overall list and has some awesome ideas. Are there any plans in the future to curate some more specific lists? One of the nice things that Gear Patrol does is put together lists for “The Driver”, “The Home Chef”, “The Audiophile” etc, you get the picture. Most of those things however are unattainable for the average joe. One of the best things about Primer is that the articles here are actually relevant and affordable for most people. You can read an article, click on a product and actually afford to own it.
