Not a fan of Kenneth Cole. I’d swap the boots out for these: http://www.aldoshoes.com/us/en_US///men/boots/casual-boots/HEWINS/p/38830843-26

Aldo doesn’t always make the best shoe either, but these look good and for only $70. The henley over oxford looks surprisingly good.

$50 for the books linked here. Not bad!

If you’re going to go with ALDO, I’d go with Guietta as these are rumored to be made by Chippewa (well regarded), assuming you can find your size.

Wearing these right now, and could not love them more. Try going in to your local store for more sizes than they show online.

I’ve had my eye on that Old Navy denim jacket for a while now. Which color do you think would be more versatile?

I recon the henley over the oxford only works because they are similar colours and are covered by the jacket. I don’t think that look would work without the jacket but it looks really good like that

This is an awesome post man. Don’t forget you can grade the chinos for joggers for more comfort!

Would I be right in thinking that you’d need a thicker weight henley in this look?

As opposed to other henley’s (H&m, Target) linked previously.

Other than that it looks awesome. The lighter nature of the jacket makes the look pretty casual.

But I have had my eye on a Gap denim jacket in a functional rinse wash.

Is the jacket he’s wearing the Old Navy one linked to in this? Doesn’t look quite the same, so i’m worried about fit.

The buttons say Banana Republic which was “established in ’78”. Doesn’t seem to be any current style on their website

For a nicer alternative to the boots- i have a pair of new Rancourt x Huckberry Knox boot in size 10, Color 8, classic heel, chromexcel. A very nice smoother/dressier cap toe work boot in a bit of a burgundy color. Selling for $350 (retail is $450). Email me @ [email protected] if anyone is interested. Apologies for the shameless plug- just trying to move these!

Dude. Henley over the oxford is KILLING it. Very cool.

  • […] Henleys are one of our favorite layering pieces because they're extremely versatile. Throw it under a flannel for extra warmth and some contrasting texture, wear it by itself for a nice balance between a sweater and a t-shirt, or do something like what Pyung is modeling here with one of our Live Action Getup features.
