Yeah, I’m never spending $155 on a handkerchief.

    • Leroy Dankins

200 on a tie also seems a bit outrageous.

      • Baseman

handkerchief is crazy but ill vouch for expensive ties. Not necessarily this one though.

Yeah, right!? Pretty nuts. I feel like you’re just an asshole if spend that much on a 12″ x 12″ piece of cloth. Haha

    • Will

My first thought, definitely. How goddamn pretentious do you have to be for something like that?

  • Perry

    Hmm… peak lapel… tread lightly…

    • Steven Bremer

Yeah, can’t do the peak lapels. In my opinion it is a style that doesn’t work. I cringe every time I see Harry from Suits wearing a suit with peak lapels.

      • diversification

Harvey, not Harry…. it’s Harvey Specter, from Suits.

Personally, I think he kills it, and though I wouldn’t put them at the front of my suit lineup, I’d certainly wear one after I had established a good base with notch lapels.

This is precisely why I didn’t renew my GQ subscription. Everything is so pretentious.

    • http://www.iamchris.ca/ Chris Jones

I agree. I had a GQ sub, and cancelled it recently. It was all nonsense. Like Cosmo for men.

  • sogelegos

I actually think that the Suitsupply suit looks nicer than the Richard Business. Love these types of articles to show that style is affordable.

  • Patrick

And that’s why I love this site. Your replies to popular menswear websites are refreshing and accessible. Keep up the great work.

  • Jimmy_Johansen

Is it just me or do Suit Supply suits seem shiny?

    • diversification

Some of the fabrics probably are. I doubt that’s the way they all are, though. Seems like this one is not among the shiny ones. It’s not something that you’ll only see with SS suits either. Lot’s of places use a wide array of fabrics, some of which will have a bit of a shine to them.

    Imagine sending $155 on hankie.
