The Original Sazerac Cocktail Recipe
A brandy cocktail with fruity notes
Equipment
- Cocktail Strainer
- Bar spoon
Ingredients
- 2.5 oz. Brandy Camus VSOP Elegance
- .5 oz. Simple syrup
- Dash Creole bitters Peychaud’s
- Rinse absinthe Lucid
- Lemon twist Garnish
Instructions
- Rinse a chilled rocks glass with absinthe and discard the excess. Combine other ingredients in a pint glass over ice and stir thoroughly.
- Strain into the rinsed rocks glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.
