Beardscape Beard and Body Trimmer V2 Review
I had to check out what the whole hype was since the trimmer I was after originally was Gamma’s Ergo clippers. I decided to give Brio a try to see if it lived to my expectations. They are as follows:
Positives:
Motor is powerful and quiet. I keep it between 6000 - 7000 RPM’s. Thats my preference. Battery life is pretty good. When you open it from the box, you have between 90-100% charge. Ive had this trimmer for almost a month and have not charged it since batter level remains high.
Grip design is pretty good. Takes a little bit of getting used to it but once you learn to control it, it’s easy to use.
Negatives:
1) Guard levels could be better as well within the blades themselves. I ended up purchasing the Zero Blade where I didn’t think it was a zero. I wish it could get closer since I dont think it’s based on what is being labelled. You have to go one down to get the setting you would prefer.
2) Original blade that comes with the trimmer should be all metal instead of plastic on the bottom of it. Not sure what Brio was thinking of this but this is another detail that needs to be revised.
3) Zero blade isn’t a true zero. To me at least felt like a 1/2. I ended up trying Walh’s Magic Clippers and completely different.
Suggestion:
Charger that came with it, I think should also be looked into as many out there are converting to USB-C. The current charger that comes with it is nice and all but it is becoming the norm.
