Zac Silk The rich textures of this look really play off one another. I’d have to go with the budget getup for now however I’d still spring for the Barbour as I’ve got one of their other waxed canvas jackets and it’s held up so well. Seems like burgundy is going to be a big colour for fall, as well as brown. So I’ll be grabbing that shawl collar cardigan from Gap as well as a burgundy v neck cardigan. http://www.primermagazine.com/ Andrew Yeah I totally agree! I’d love to get a Barbour at some point. Zac Silk I’d really rccomend it! I got it as a gift it’s the Steve Mqueen version from a few years back. But as I’m trying to streamline my closet, and investing in versatile pieces really helps that. Now I just need to stop buying so many shawl collar cardigans. I think my 10 plus is enough. Gerard Hall My Barbour is my favourite item of clothing i own ! have the Barbour Duke Waxed in olive – well worth the cash – gets better with age Magru85 Always love these series, but is there any way you could do a shot with someone wearing the looks? Always helps me! http://www.primermagazine.com/ Andrew Thanks! We do that in our Live Action Getups: http://www.primermagazine.com/tag/live-action-getup Andres Deambrosi I must admit I have a thing for field jackets and watches and this does the trick. I am just getting to know the Shinola brand of watch and I like it. I love this 1 Look 2 Budgets, love to see several of these for fall. http://www.primermagazine.com/ Andrew Thanks Andres, glad you like it! 🙂 I’m definitely up for more 1 Look 2 Budgets if you guys want to see more of them. Andres Deambrosi So I come from a more rural side of America where a more casual look wasn’t just a look, but all there was. My wife comes from big city. We live near the mountains with a cosmopolitan downtown 10 minutes away, so there is an outdoors vibe to everything here with the variety a city provides. I would the one trying to find a way to get some type of cargo pants into my look, and my wife desperately getting me to not wear them. With the fall a field jacket works to fill the void of not enough pockets. So…not sure what look fits all that, but always ready to learn. Cameron Poole There are so many better options than that Shinola. And why a ‘relaxed fit’ Barbour jacket? Andres Deambrosi So I am getting into watches…what other options do you have in mind? I must admit I like the industrial look of the Shinola, without being massive and chunky. http://mywp.ninja Paden I really love this idea of the two budget version. Great job! rogun Great stuff Andrew! http://oldenoughtoknow.com Henry I picked up that Target shirt…can’t recommend it. It’s got a weird collar tab that looks terrible unless you want to button it up all the way to the neck. Sizes are odd as well. Even their medium fits huge on my frame, and I’m normally somewhere between a medium and large in most labels.
