The first thing I noticed is that they couldn’t even take the time to get a good fit on the model for that photo. Then again, I guess this is a good thing since it means that I’ve actually learned something from your efforts to educate and inspire. bad_fit It doesn’t help that the shirt is Regular Fit and not slim or tailored. Jose Gutierrez The look is not for everyone. Take what will benefit you and move on with your own style. It’s a free blog to help. Rt1583 Understood. My comment goes to me spending too much time on a variety of style blogs (to a degree a bad thing) but also that I have learned something from this blog and others (a good thing). Ross I was wondering if there is any backstory for these kind of posts. I know that the subject is 5 for under $50 and it’s dated for today June 25th, but I’m wondering what the point of these posts are. I love these posts and I am not criticizing at all, I was just wondering if there was a rhyme or reason to when they are posted…like what is done when a Getup is posted for a Summer Wedding, Mother’s Day, or Fourth of July etc. Thanks! http://www.primermagazine.com/ Andrew Hey Ross, It’s a mixture of things, based on good sales I find, nearby holidays/events, as well as must-have items. Glad you like them! Ross Thanks for the reply Andrew. I always enjoy these and the Getups. I was wondering if you might be able to help me find a pair of dark denim jeans. I have been shopping for the better portion of a year for the perfect pair of slim fitting dark denim jeans with a true straight let to fit over my Red Wing Iron Rangers (Thanks for the suggestion) and my Clark Chukka Desert boots, as well as my Moc Toe Boots. The problem I am running into is I can’t find a slim seat and thigh straight leg that has a 17″ leg opening in a dark indigo denim. I was thinking about trying a makeyourownjeans website and creating a few pairs with my measurements but I have concerns regarding the process. I was hoping that you might have some expert advice for me either on the makeyourownjeans website front or possibly another lead for the perfect jeans. Anything you can do to help I would really appreciate it! Thanks Andrew! Ross Anyone have any suggestions for a slim fitting true Straight Leg Jean that isn’t raw or Selvedge denim? I have a slim seat and thigh and it seems to be impossible to find a straight leg jean that fits my body without the ankle being tapered. I was hoping someone would have a lead on a brand of jeans that runs a little slimmer and form fitting in the seat hip and thigh while have the same dimensions from the knee to the the ankle, (without any tapering). Thanks! http://about.me/dittman dittman What about the Levi’s 514? Ross The 514 are still too baggy in the thigh, knee, and seat. I have also tried the 513 for the slimmer seat and thigh but it slimmed more at the ankle because of the slight taper. But thanks for the suggestion! http://artsytechture.wordpress.com Gierlang Bhakti Putra Thank you for your reviews! For a starter who just graduate from university, it’s kinda hard to look for fashion review that match our starting salaries. Most provide fancy fashion with fancy kind of price. But this one is a hit!
