Dang Andrew, you are pumping these Getups out like hotcakes!

    • Andrew

Haha, is that good or bad?

      • Jason

        Good! Keep it up

  • Nick

The pace is great! Keep it up! Also, is that jacket brown or olive?

  • Ken

Nice! Most of these items can mix and match with other things, so versatile too. The shirts and sweaters are good for 2 or 3 of the seasons, not just winter.

  • Josh

If it’s slushy out, wouldn’t a pair of water/snow-proof Bean Boots be better?

  • anon

I have that Eddie Bauer cardigan and it’s GREAT! Be warned: they run a little on the large side.

  • Clay

Andrew, you do a great job with the Getups. Thanks!

  • Francisco

Wearing the Merona shirt from Target as I read the article.

    • guest

What’s the fit like on that Merona shirt?

      • Francisco

It’s more of a tailored fit, so if you are on the slimmer side like me (6’0″; 147), a small will do great.

        • Paul

Good Lord, I’m 5’10 and 160 and I feel slim…you’re downright skinny, man!

  • Tuck

Andrew these are awesome! 🙂 I check out every single one, and love the variations, deals, and interesting different vendors you find. The way you put these together keeps me coming back every time. Keep being awesome! 🙂

  • John

Wow. Can anyone here actually wear that many layers on top and be comfortable? I’d be ditching the hat, gloves, scarf, jacket, and cardigan indoors. What about the legs? Are those chinos lined? A pair of thermal tights or cords would make this more comfortable for cooler weather and you could probably lose the Henley. I second the Bean Boots or my preference, Bogs Classic High (no laces, just fold the top down or up).

  • guest

Anyone care to describe the fit on that Merona henley? Is it athletic or more traditional? (I’m used to Merona fitting a little more baggy than Mossimo, especially around the waist.)

    • Francisco

Merona from Target is starting to get more tailored (as I mentioned with the shirt), so if you’re more athletic it will be a perfect fit. For heftier guys, I would suggest ordering a size up, since they are usually true to length but are a bit slimmer.

Awesome items, love the boots especially!

  • yes sir

this getup requires an ‘upgrade’ opition on the those poverty imitation boots to the original and still champ – Red Wing 875

  • Jonathan

Love the jacket! Got it in brown and you can easily use a JCPenney coupon with free shipping to the store. The boots are on their way, but I love your outfits. I work at J. Crew and I use some of your ideas and match the style with what we have in the store. Keep up the good work!

Hey Andrew, I want to get a nice pair of sunglasses for the coming spring. However I’m not sure what to get or what I would really get my money’s worth out of. Can you maybe do an article on sunglasses and the different types and styles for different uses?
