Swap the old Fight Club poster on your wall for a piece of beautiful history.
This majestic photo captures the inaugural sendoff of the steamship Frank J. Hecker in St. Clair, Michigan during the fall of 1905. Big waves, a proud flag, and excited onlookers create an inspiring photo that conjures up all kinds of stories behind it.

The Hecker was a cargo ship used for many things for over 55 years, including automobiles when it was converted in 1954. Unfortunately the steamer found its final resting place northwest of Azores in the Atlantic ocean when it sank in 1961 while being towed to shipbreakers in Italy.

The image is designed to be printed to fit a 11×14 frame or smaller, with a white matte border built in.
