That Land’s End jacket looks great. The material goes really well with the chambray shirt/jeans combo.

What are the actual differences between light Spring and light Fall jackets? I have a denim jacket, a canvas jacket, and a nylon jacket that all get used during both seasons. Am I incorrect in doing so?

      Hey Perry,

There could be some seasonal differences such as color choice, or function like wind/rain protection for spring or insulation for cooler weather in fall, but it sounds like what you have should work great.

Just got the Old Navy jacket for 20 dollars! 30% off today and I had a 10 dollar reward. Thanks for suggestions!

I really like the look of this jacket. How is the fit?

This Boden quilted jacket is 30% off bringing it to around $117. I just bought a couple weeks ago it and its great. Similar in looks to the Izod one above.http://www.bodenusa.com/en-US/Mens-Coats-Jackets/ME074/Mens-Quilted-Jacket.html

Boden jacket looks great, too bad they got rid of the olive color back after Christmas.

Agreed, that was the one i was planning on buying but it was gone. Bought the blue one though and I’m very happy with it.

I just got the Old Navy one (hooded one in navy). I was really looking forward to it since it is water repellent, but the fit is weird and I will be returning it.

I still wear an Express jacket I snagged at Salvation Army back in 2011(?) as my Fall/Spring go-to. Medium Gray, zip-up, wool, collared. I’m thinking of getting the new Macintosh from Gap, too.

I love the look of that Frank & Oak here, I’m going to find me one of those here in the Netherlands. What’s with the breast pockets though? Seems to be in fashion looking at this list, but I’m not sure I like it.
