$11 Polarized Wayfarer Style Sunglasses with Free Prime Shipping
Better cheap sunglasses.

When it comes to sunglasses, guys fall into one of three camps. Some invest a day's pay into quality specs but are forced to carry a case and track them like a first-time mom with a toddler. Those who are resigned to gas station models because they’ve lost and broken one too many pairs to warrant spending more. Then there are the poor souls like me, who enjoy the advantages of higher priced shades but can’t justify paying for them.

That’s why I was excited to find these specs by Gamma Ray on Amazon for a paltry $11, free shipping included for Prime members. They’re polarized UV400 lenses, meaning they block 99-100% of the suns harmful rays, while also cutting through glare on surfaces like water or road pavement.

Make no mistake, these aren’t $100 sunglasses, but – the optics are great for the price and the shape is in the style of the New Wayfarer. These are perfect for either a guy who doesn’t spend a lot of dough on sunglasses or for a guy who’s been curious about wearing this style of sunglasses but didn’t want to pull the trigger on an expensive version just in case he doesn’t like it. (Hint: He will, I guarantee it.)

Don’t take my word for it, they have over 250 reviews with a 4 star average rating on Amazon. Two things worth noting: Gamma Ray calls them “Cheaters” and so this is emblazoned on the side in cursive. I’m not a fan of that, but it’s innocuous enough if nobody knows what they say already. They’re also not super tinted, in comparison to some I’ve owned, but it hasn’t bothered me.

Pick up a pair of the tortoise frame with green lens on Amazon for $11.
