I like this one, you should do a guide on purchasing basics like v necks or round necks. It’s always hard to get the right fabric without spending too much.

I’ve got those exact socks. Very comfortable, but they seem like the gold lines start to fray out before everything else. Not sure what could be causing it.

My experience with Target socks is that the quality is very hit or miss. I bought 5 or 6 pairs a couple years ago in various argyles and stripe patterns. I had one pair the started fraying and looking generally terrible after one or two washes. I have another pair that i still wear to this day. The quality control on those socks aren’t the best.

Member’s Only? is that some kind of 80’s homage to Harold Ramis

Quick hack: if you have the basic brown boots (from previous get-ups), substitute brown belt and you have the same look. Use what you already have when you have the chance.

Not sure about those shoes…but otherwise I like it. Any other suggestions footwear wise?

If you want to see all of the past Get Ups in one place. I created a Pinterest board for all of them

Has anyone actually bought Levis on Amazon? I’ve found quality varies greatly depending on who you buy them from. I have a few pairs of the same Levis, and some have a heavier denim feel while others just feel like cloth. Some retain color better than others, too.

    Suavecito is amazing!!!!

    • thinker_random

Completely agree! My barber solely uses Suavecito which is how I got hooked on it.

Was looking for a pomade recommendation. Thanks!

That blue jacket is sold out.

I’ve been pretty frustrated with the jeans selection I’ve been seeing recently. They’re all really thin and flimsy and cheaply made compared to the pair I still have from ’04, Levi’s included unfortunately. Jeans should have the durability factor of a Brett Favre commercial no matter what cut. Im at the point where I’ll pay almost anything to get that american wardrobe staple that hasn’t been tarnished by profit margin. Andrew, any alternatives?

Getup Request – Something green to wear for St. Paddy’s Day Weekend. Preferably early so we can acquire the items before the holiday.

  • Mason Sale

I have the vintage version of that blue members only. I Think I’ll try adding the stripes.

I love it, metalic watch is such a nice touch.
