Great post, as per usual! Happy New Years everyone! http://www.primermagazine.com/ Andrew Wow! Thank you so much! Neil What other websites did you use? I thought that only Primer did these. Josh Macy dappered, uncrate, cool material http://maddendude.blogspot.com/ Baseman Quality product, no gimmicks Melvin Love the boots, do you happen to know of any similar style boots that are less expensive? BNew Been waiting for this GetUp to come out! Thanks again Andrew and have a Happy New Years! diversification Can I suggest a double-post today? A lot of people tend to really dress up for NYE (up to and including tux formality). Thoughts? http://www.primermagazine.com/ Andrew I thought about it! Are you planning on dressing up that much? diversification Toying with the idea. It depends whether I decide to head to the closest city and go out there or if I just go to some small house party. The former will see me in something a bit more formal. The latter will have me in something a bit closer to the outfit you posted. Daniel Andrew, love this outfit (and the champagne)! Got a question though, I’ve been browsing Primer and basing a lot of my fashion on your posts for awhile now and have seen that Skagen watch recommended numerous times. Any chance you could post some pictures of it as it looks together with an outfit when you can? http://www.primermagazine.com/ Andrew Hey Daniel, We did a post on Skagen awhile back, which is why I love ‘em. Check it out: http://www.primermagazine.com/2010/spend/skagen-watches Derek Just recommending you should post an outfit that is a bit more formal as alot of people dress up for the occasion. Keep up good work! Thanks! Mark Wood Love the site, and the fashion tips. Wish there was a primemagazine app……. But I am always clipping pics of out fits when I go to the mall to try and mach up the clothes and styles. Thanks for this site!!!! http://www.primermagazine.com/ Andrew What would you like to see in an app? Mark Wood Maybe something like on the left side of the app there would be sections like: Dressy Casual Then once you click “Dressy” on the left side it will show all the seasons and when you click on each season, itll show what to wear same thing with “Casual” then there would be other sections like how you have on this website but itll be in app form… Idk something like that. But the website is awesome tho. http://www.primermagazine.com/ Andrew Very cool, thank you! I’ll start brainstorming. http://www.offthebackboard.wordpress.com/ Off The Backboard Andrew, what other shirt patterns/colors would go with this ensemble? I have everything in this get up except for the shirt. http://www.primermagazine.com/ Andrew You could go a lot of ways with it. Simplest would be a solid, like an oxford shirt, light blue, white, or pink would look nice. You could also do another plaid shirt that has greens, blues, or browns. If you go with the blue sweater alternative, it opens up more options for red plaid shirts. Elan I like a more colorful button-down when I wear a dark sweater over it. Good job choosing affordable options as always though! Zach This is a fine casual outfit but totally inappropriate for NYE. NYE is for black tie, gentlemen. fail. http://www.primermagazine.com/ Andrew Only if you’re going to a black tie event. Thanks for the constructive comment. ch3ch2oh Wow that target coat looks real nice.
