    how about a getup for graduate students? No graduate student wears a suit to TA, but sometimes we get too lazy by wearing jeans and tshirts. (grad students tend to be from 25 to early thirties).

    The beauty of this outfit is the simplicity, at least for me. This is such an easy outfit to pull off and everyone should have pretty much everything in this Getup article. Maybe not the blue chinos. I do, but I love the hell out of anything with color. Keep these coming.

    so heres the question andrew… how much of this suggested stuff do you own? or do you go on the websites to put things together…because that’s alot of closet space…. and what do you think of layering henleys over button downs?

      Jake, I try to include things I own or things similar to what I own. Of course, I don’t own everything I’d like to. ;) My goal with the Getup is to use the items as inspiration for something you may already have. You may not have light blue chinos but you may have something similar, or may be inspired to swap them out for something you do have. I’m not suggesting folks buy everything in every Getup. :)

    of course not…i’d be dead broke if i tried to buy everything i saw that i wanted…having trouble getting those random non essentials which pull things together….belts that match, ties, different suits…etc… the key is like everyone says, have those few essentials which can be used in many different ways

    Too quick to order the Dockers without looking at the comments. I ordered my usually size and the pants are so damn tight that I can’t wear them at all. Going to have to sell them on Ebay because I ripped off the tags.
