Some think dressing well in the summer is hard, but the transition to sweltering days with cooler evenings can be even tougher.

Finally getting to the point where we’re just in the mid-70s here in Baltimore. Nothing’s worse than when it just can’t be fall weather, so this is a good outfit to have. I’m really on the fence about those weekend bags though. I love the way they look, but the straps bother me. If I want to have the bag on my shoulder, I want the option of the longer strap.
Well its a weekend bag. its less for carrying around all day, and more for packing clothing and other essentials when going to spend a weekend with friends or family
I know what a weekend bag is…I’m just saying I like the option of having the shoulder strap, and that this bag not having one makes me lean against buying it.
Ha! Love the title to this and thanks for thinking of us/me that are still dealing with +100 deg weather (Phoenix).
Definitely (I’m down in Tucson and the forecast is for 102 today).
I will say that the length on the (slim fit) Target polos seems off to me, though. When I tried on the small last week the shirt (which otherwise was fine) didn’t end until below my crotch, and I’m 5’10”.
Sweater over a polo or a button down is a very good, casual look, imo.
Any other good shaving cream recommendations? I fear my Poraso will never run out and I’m up for something to kill the monotony.
This is definitely an annoying time of year clothing wise. I really don’t like wearing a jacket/sweater/sweatshirt in the morning for an hour then carrying it around the rest of the day until 6ish once it is cold enough to put back on. Best thing about cold weather is layering.
I don’t think I can pull off loafers with shorts
I can’t do loafers with shorts and have never really seen anyone pull it off. I do like the Nixon watch and Everlane bag though.
Yea, this is a rough time of year. Not quite cold enough to “full on fall”. I’m in South America right now, and it will be 10 degrees cooler in the shade – 20 in the evening. All about the light layers and a bag to put ‘em in once they come off.
