|Sometimes we get stuck in ruts. We know we should break our routine, add more gym time, eat healthier, drink less, save more money, and the list can literally go on forever.
The problem is, if we don’t actually do anything different, no change can occur. Einstein famously defined insanity as doing the same thing over and over again but expecting a different result. Our desire for 6 pack abs or a better relationship is no different: we can’t continue doing the exact same things, and hope to wake up tomorrow a better person.
Start slow. Eat an apple every morning instead of Cocoa Puffs. Have one less drink than you used to. Choose your battles with your girlfriend more effectively. Use this wallpaper as a reminder. Here’s to being the best we can be.
