HUGE Black Friday Savings from Indochino, Gap, and The Motley

Not only do you not have to brave crazy lines and weather to get these once-in-a-year deals, you don’t have to wait for Black Friday or Cyber Monday either.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope you get to have a special day with family and friends. A very big thanks to everyone for your continued support of Primer. With your help we’ve continued to grow, hitting our biggest traffic month last month, getting our stuff in front of more guys just like us. Thanks for all your sharing, Facebook Liking, and Tweeting, it really makes a difference. I couldn’t do it without you. :)

We’ve been talking about Indochino‘s suits for a few years now. I bought the Ultimate Gray Suit last year and wear it every chance I get. I love it. Fits great, and I always get a ton of compliments on it. Check out my full review, Don Draper’s Suit.

Now the brand, who also sells custom made dress shirts, sportcoats, outerwear, and a host of accessories is offering an unprecedented 30% off on all orders over $700. $700? Sounds like an awful lot money, how’s that a deal? It’s actually pretty incredible.

For example, let’s say you opt to pick up an Ultimate Gray Suit and their Classic Navy Suit, two wardrobe staples every modern man should have. Each of those go for $379, still a deal for a custom-made suit. Those two equal $758, with 30% savings that knocks a whopping $227.40 off the price.

Leaving a total bill of $530.60 – meaning each suit only costs $265.30! It’s hard enough getting a good looking off-the-rack suit for that much at a place like J.Crew or even Macy’s, and these will be custom made to your measurements.

You could also do something like the Indigo Glen Plaid Winter Suit ($399) and their Brown Tweed Blazer ($299) throw in a $9 pair of metal collar stays to get over $700, and you’ll have a final bill of only $494.90.

Use coupon code BF2011 until November 28 to get 30% off all orders over $700.

If you’ve been wanting to pick up some nice grooming products but didn’t want to spend the extra cash, here’s your chance to save some dough.

Our friends over at The Motley are doing a Thanksgiving discount, which will be their greatest discount offering of the year.

The codes:
THANKS15 = 15% off under $50
THANKS20 = 20% off $50.01 – $149.99
THANKS25 = 25% off $150+

The Motley is a small LA based startup that provides affordable luxury grooming products with outstanding customer service. I’ve had the opportunity to try a few of their products like rum-scented soap by Townsend Bay and their very own product line Buckler’s, currently featuring an awesome chapped skin remedy. It’s thick, unscented, and works great – just ask my girlfriend, she keeps snagging it from me.

Now for some really big savings. If you follow us on Twitter, you’d know about Gap’s crazy up to 60% off EVERYTHING sale. If you read Primer with any regularity, you know I’m a big fan of Gap; they consistently offer affordable, modern style with quality that isn’t present in most of the other brands in the price bracket.

It’s a great time to pick up some staples. Including the items from the recent post I did about what I picked up at Gap: an Alpaca sweater is on sale now for only $56, straight fit corduroys for $48, and the must-have for every guy’s closet, dark straight-leg jeans also only $48.

The non-iron gingham shirt I wore in that post is now only $42, which is a solid price for this great shirt. If you need a cool, manly scarf, the one I got is now only $15!

Happy Thanksgiving!

    Been eyeballing suits for a few months now. Picked up the Ultimate Gray Suit and Classic Navy Suit from Indochino at 30% off! Now just the painful waiting game! They are sending me the Ultimate Grey first to iron out (hah!) any measurement issues because they send the Navy. SOOO excited!!!
