However, why is this article only about men? Why are men rewarded for being stoic and women thought of being cold and unemotional? "Not even death can bring terror to him who regards that alone as a good which comes in due season, and to whom it is all one whether his acts in conformity to right reason are few or many, and a matter of indifference whether he look upon the world for a longer or shorter time." (Well... "All is opinion"...) Much as I do appreciate the idea of engaging the modern man to Stoicism, I know of a simpler quote from Marcus Aurelius…
