But anyway, there are only four stations with call names that begin with a K east of the Mississippi and two of them are in Pittsburgh. I don&#039;t really understand why, but whenever people explain it to me, they used the word &quot;grandfathered&quot; which I assume to mean that it&#039;s been that way for so long that no one remembers why or cares.
