And I forgot to point out that more recent studies conclude that based on texture, some foods can safely sit on the floor for minutes before collecting significantly more bacteria. (I remember the study mentioning Skittles being very bacteria resistant)

I knew most of those because I’m a nerd, but I thought KFC changed their name over trademark issues stemming from their sell off to PepsiCo, because the company didn’t want to sell the name Kentucky Fried Chicken. I’ll look into it further later. Otherwise this was an entertaining article.
