Lorin - If you&#039;re eating fairly healthy and pretty clean, AND biking to work, you&#039;re probably not going to see a huge impact of having a beer or two in the evening with the guys. Now, as you get closer to 30 and your metabolism slows down??? It might become another story. Beer may taste great, but it really is empty calories, and if you&#039;re consuming them later in the evening, you could just be allowing your body to store them rather than use them. 

Nutrition is about fueling your body for the things you want to get done during the day, and the things you want to enjoy. Everything in moderation is always key!

I wonder something though....as a craft beer lover who likes to enjoy a pint or two daily, is there any way I can do something during the day (i work a normal 9-5 workday that doesn&#039;t involve much moving) so that I don&#039;t have to regret my nightly brew?  I ride my bike 12 miles round trip to work (probably not often enough) but I don&#039;t know if that does me any good as far as the beer goes, which I drink after I&#039;ve done any exercise I&#039;m going to do for the day.</description>
